WICC (Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade)To help support the great work our friends at WICC (Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade) are doing to fight cancer, Boyd Autobody & Glass created an online campaign to raise funds for the cause. Recycled RidesThis program enlists the help of members of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) to repair and then donate recycled vehicles to families in need in the community. Gerber Collision & Glass participated in the program for the first time in 2010 and has since become even more involved. | |
The Winnipeg Harvest Empty Bowls ProjectBoyd Autobody & Glass proudly sponsored the Winnipeg Harvest Empty Bowls Celebrity Auction in 2010, which raised over $230,000 to assist the Harvest's network of foodbanks, soup kitchens, shelters, and drop-in centres. For every dollar donated to Winnipeg Harvest, approximately $20 worth of food can be leveraged. | |
Move 'N Groove A-ThonA celebration of physical mobility in support of the Movement Centre of Manitoba. The Boyd Autobody & Glass Move 'N Groove A-Thon is a 12-hour dance-a-thon for people of all physical abilities. The Movement Centre is a non-profit organization that assists individuals with movement disabilities. | |
Container VillageAn innovative project dedicated to providing shelter for the homeless in the Coquitlam, B.C. area. Specially altered shipping containers provide a warm and comfortable environment for those who need it most. | |
Peanut Butter RallyHeld annually in support of the Rock River Valley Pantry, the goal of the Rally is to collect enough jars of peanut butter to meet the summertime needs of families that use the RRV Pantry. The program aims to keep children nourished while school is out by providing healthy peanut butter. Gerber Collision & Glass has collected thousands of jars by holding rallies at area shops. | |
