Collision Damage Estimator

Location: Calgary, AB

We have an immediate need for a qualified Collision Damage Estimator to join the team at our #1 - 11450 - 29th St. SE location.

The Position:

The responsibilities of an Estimator are focused on two main areas: accurate damage analysis and customer service. The Estimator is responsible for assessing vehicle damage and creating an initial repair order estimate that meets or exceeds the specified accuracy target. The Estimator is in regular contact with the appropriate insurance company to advise on vehicle repair status.

The Estimator is the primary point of contact for customers during and after the repair, providing information, repair updates, and a high level of service throughout the process.

Applicants interested in this position should have a minimum two years experience in a similar position. Thorough knowledge of the collision repair process, solid customer service skills, and experience with various insurance company procedures is expected. Previous experience training new Estimators is an asset. Salary for this position is $55,000 to $72,000/yr, dependent upon skills and experience.

Requirements:

• Prior estimating experience at a collision repair facility OR at an appraisal company
• Solid understanding of the collision repair process
• Experience with ADP and Mitchell
• Familiarity with various insurance company guidelines
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Attention to detail
