I would like to commend John, Scott and Jodi for their excellent customer service - and everyone else who had anything to do in any way with the repair of my car. My car was backed into in a parking lot recently. I was pretty rattled and I wasn't sure what I needed to do so I called the Boyd's shop on John S. to find out - my husband had his vehicle repaired there several months ago and was very pleased with the service and the repair and, thankfully, I still had the business card in my purse. Jodi answered the phone and very calmly and efficiently (I wasn't feeling very calm at the moment so that helped) explained what I, and the driver of the other vehicle needed to do (the other driver wasn't calm at all - she was completely distraught and sobbing). Following Jodi's instructions, we exchanged the required information, I took pictures ... of both vehicles and we went our separate ways. When I arrived at Boyd's, John and Scott explained the repair process to me, checked over my car, told me how long it would take and booked an appointment for me for the following week. I felt relieved to know that all I had to do was bring my car back and they would take care of everything. When I returned at the appointed time the following week, Jodi had all the paperwork ready and waiting and Scott went over my car with me, explaining very clearly and simply exactly what was involved in the repair and how it would be done - he had marked my car to indicate each section and area affected. I left feeling confident that my new (and leased) car would look like new again. I really appreciated the courtesy car I was provided - it was clean and fueled up and all I had to do was drive away in it. My car was ready a day earlier than promised - thank you very much! When I picked it up, everyone was just as friendly, efficient and organized as they had been both times I was there previously. Obviously it takes teamwork, by everyone at the shop, to provide such a pleasant and worry-free customer experience in such unpleasant and stressful circumstances. Got rear ended on May 3rd 2016 and ones I settled everything with my family insurance I decided to take my vehicle to Boyd Auto body and Glass. When I called to inquire regarding my car to be fixed the receptionist was very pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions. I booked an appointment with BOYD. When I arrived at BOYD everyone was super friendly I was dealing with Paulo the Richmond branch manager, Jester and Rod ( auto body and painter) all I can say is that they are outstanding employees and BOYD is lucky to have them, they really took good care of me and my vehicle. Paolo took pictures of my car and explain to me what will happen for repairs and told me that it might just take a day to do the repairs and if it will take longer he will let me know a head of time. They made sure that there was a rental car ready for me to ... take and Jester even drove my husband and I to enterprise to get it. I got a call from Paulo the next day and he delivered some great news that I can come pick up my car I was very surprised how fast they were with the repairs I thought it will take a few days. When I was driving towards the shop I can see my car it was sooooo shiny it was like picking it up from the dealership again I was stunned how clean it was even the inside, I was very excited. Checked out the car with Jester and he explained what they did and he even had a surprised for me my brand-new Mazda cx-5 was hit with a rock while driving towards Langley one week after we bought it so it had a big scratch on the front bumper was very sad about it but Jester did a little magic and polished it of for me so now I cant even see any damages on my front bumper so GREATFUL. Rod did such an awesome job painting the car its like we were never rear ended at all THANKS Rod. all I can say is that I will definitely recommend Richmond BOYD autobody and glass to everyone because they are FANTASTIC AND THEY GIVE AWESOME SERVICE!!!! A week ago, a rock chipped my windshield while I was on-ramping onto the highway. Over the weekend, I went to a different shop near my house and they said filling in this crack could not be done. But I didn't want to give up, so I wanted another opinion. Since I work along Bridgeport Road, I decided to see if Boyd could help me out. And they did! Filling in the crack took the technician less than 5 minutes, even though he said 15 minutes. Once the work was complete, I could barely see the crack. I was very impressed by how fast the service was and the friendly customer service that was shown to me. I will definitely come back to Boyd if I need some body work or glass replacement done in the future. So far the crack is holding up but if the windshield decides to crack completely I will know where to go to fix it just because I value ... customer service and I am now a dedicated customer. read more

I have a 2003 Infiniti g35 that got into an accident. The front bumper was pushed in and the driver side fender had a big dent.So I took my car to BOYD auto body for repair.The repairs were done beautifully. The paint job was clean and you can't tell what damages I've done. Not a trace. I left happy and would recommend to everyone who needs a good auto body shop. I would definitely come back for another repair. I hope not too soon?

The service and staff was outstanding. The repairs were excellent. The repairs were done the following day after dropping the car off. I was not able to pick my car up as I was away and the Boyd team were able to drop off my car at my residence so it was there when I arrived home. Thanks a lot.. Great job. Would use them again in the future and will advise my friends and family of the great service and workmanship.
