I would like to share with you a very pleasant experience at your Winnipeg Lakewood location. In a nutshell, the retaining clip that holds the glass to the lowering mechanism in the driver's door of my car had come separated from the glass. The glass was thus loose and off track in the door and would neither go up or down as intended however the other plastic clip was still holding properly. When I phoned the store this morning to inquire about repairing the problem the receptionist patiently took down my information and subsequently asked me to bring the car in to have a look at it. Long story short the window was repaired within an hour and I was on my way after being informed by your service representative Brad D. that there would be no charge and if the problem reoccurred the vehicle should be brought back and they would look at it ... again. I would like to mention that I previously contacted another firm (The Speedy people) that also do auto glass repair. There I was informed that they do not repair this type of problem as the glue that holds the clip to the glass tends to fail and so they will only install new glass. The cost for this repair was estimated at $410.00 or $290.00 for glass only neither of which were very appealing alternatives. Regardless if this is a valid argument or not, your excellent service, honesty and cost was certainly very appreciated. I cannot remember such prompt and professional service in the recent past and congratulate all for such a good job. So great! A slight mix up with a courtesy car, but you fast tracked the work on my vehicle, drove me home and my car was ready at the end of the day. Super friendly staff! AND they cleaned the inside of my vehicle...where my kids had left a dirty slushy winter boot mess!

Work was done just fine, but the best thing about Boyd are the employees - from the office staff to the ones working on the cars and especially the 2 young men - one who drove me home and the other who picked me up after the work was done. Nothing personal - I'd rather not have to come back - but would not hesitate to return if I have another problem with the car that they can look after.

I took my RAV 4 in for body repairs on Feb.29th and it was completed and ready for pick up on the 2nd of march. It was done faster than I anticipated. They not only did a professional job of the repairs but also cleaned my car both inside and out. The staff that I dealt with were at this location were more than courteous and helped me through my claim without any problems. I just wish I could find more businesses that have the level of professionalism that these people have. They will get all by future business in the future and I will be sure to tell my friends and family of how good these people are.

Stopped by after my truck's rear passenger panel and door was scratched in a hit and run. Manager came out and told me "let me take it back and see what I can do for you". 15 minutes later, much of the 2 foot long scratch is buffed out free of charge. Will be coming back

Last week I went to the Southdale branch to get an estimate on re-attaching a side moulding on the door of my truck. The estimator explained the procedure in doing the work and told me that it would take approximately an hour. He also gave an approximate price of under $100.00. When I asked to make an appointment he suggested it could be done now if I had the time. I accepted and came back an hour later and it was done. The work was well done and to my pleasant surprise, there was no charge. Great. The manager and staff at the branch are to be commended. Thank you very much for the repair done.

I found it very easy to get information on what I needed to do to get my car repaired. I requested a courtesy car which allowed my driving needs to still be addressed. The courtesy car was ready and waiting the morning I dropped it off (a Friday). All work was done by the following Tuesday and everything looks great. Added bonus to have my car cleaned inside also. Thanks so much!
