BC - 12211 Bridgeport Rd, Richmond - 2/20/13

On Saturday the 9th of February I discovered that someone had come by my residence in the middle of the night and smashed in my drivers side window. I contacted ICBC and they directed me to go to a glass express recommended dealer. I searched their site for repair shops and came across Boyd Auto glass which was close to my home. I called Boyd and explained my problem to the very kind man that answered the phone. His name was Rishi and he told me to come on down and he would be glad to help me by taping up the missing window and he would start my claim. I went immediately there and was met by Rishi who is the most compassionate person and has the best customer service skills I have ever met . His professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge of the industry was first rate. He explained in detail to me how the claims work. While he was ... photographing the damage to my vehicle he noticed that I had several carseats in my van. I explained to him that I was a foster parent caring for several children most of which where born addicted to drugs. As a dad himself he understood the importance of my job and how important my van was to me. He continued to take photos as we talked and then he noticed 2 large cuts in the steering wheel cover over the airbag. He then explained to me that it was too dangerous for me to drive my van as the airbag could deploy at any time. He helped me to phone ICBC back and make a new claim because of that. He let ICBC know that I needed a rental van as mine was too dangerous. He later told me that if ICBC hadn't ok'd the rental van he would have done so out of his own pocket. That comment almost brought me to tears. I had never dealt with someone so compassionate and generous. He even had the rental company bring the van right to me at his shop. Rishi then helped me transfer all my baby seats to the rental van. Rishi explained that because it was a long weekend nothing could really begin until the following Tuesday and he hoped to have my van done by the end of the week. To my surprise I was contacted on the following Wednesday letting me know my van was ready. That was amazing service. My van was returned to me repaired perfectly and even detailed. Rishi helped make a horrible incident a pleasurable experience because I came to him. I will never go any where else when it comes to my vehicles and I have recommended Boyd to everyone I know. I found the service to be VERY good at this location. Everybody I talked to was very friendly. Boyd didn't do the work though, the car was sent out to be detailed , and they did a good job, as far as I can tell. It was cloudy and raining when I picked the car up today. I will check it closer on a brighter, sunnier day. Jamie had arranged a courtesy car and it was ready and waiting upon my arrival at the shop. A good job by everybody concerned Peter Davis

first i would like to thank Boyd Autobody & Glass in richmond for there great work and service and a big thank u to there maneger Rishi for his great and friendly service . i was very happy and impressed with there valet service that i didnt know about,,,it was a huge time saving for me,,and after all they detail my car for me( that was very nice )unexpected thank u. i would tell all my family and frineds about my expreance with them and to go and c them for any work . thank u Rishi and Boyd Autobody & Glass

I just wanted to say what a wonderful job Boyd autobody did for me. They went over and above with their service. The quality of work was superior and the customer service was great. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants any work done on their vehicle. I can't say enough good things about them. They want to make sure you are completely happy with the job and if not they will go the extra mile to make you a satisfied customer. I highly recommend this place.

Boyd did a fantastic job repairing my 1997 Isuzu Rodeo for me! After being told by other shops around Vancouver that no one would touch an Isuzu any more, Robin at the Vancouver Boyd location had a welcome and different response - of course they could fix it, it just might take a little bit more effort to find the parts. I was delighted with the friendly service (including being picked up and dropped off to the sky train so I could go to work on time) and fast turnaround (I had my vehicle repaired in about one week) and the extra little touches (they washed the exterior and vacuumed the interior for me). Robin even matched the paint colour perfectly, despite having to hunt around online and in the USA for it. I was 100% satisfied with the service and work done at Boyd, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good shop with great ... service and great results. The service I received has been fantastic, thank you.I was provided with a really nice courtesy vehicle (which was also clean and shiny inside and out!) during the repair process, and when my own vehicle was returned, it was in superb condition. The repair was completed within the estimate time given and the repairs were excellent and flawless, and in addition, my vehicle had been cleaned inside an out! Thank you SO much. YELP: Recently I needed some work done quite quickly on my 2012 Dodge Caravan. I called around to several shops, and although none of them seemed run off their feet, they all wanted more time to do the work than I had available. Then I called on Robin at Boyd Autobody. They were close to my home, had a car rental company close by, and made all the arrangements that were necessary to get the work done in the time allowed. And their work was fabulous. My vehicle had been sideswiped while parked, and it's white paint was mared with black paint and rubber right down the side. When I went to pick it up, to my amazement it was back to perfect condition - no trace of the accident. Boyd's staff was very helpful, Robin kept updating me on their progress, and together they all made the whole process very smooth. I highly recommend their work and ... service. read more

I am planning a long trek across Canada and the USA so I went into Boyd in hopes for a check up. Rishi, the store manager, actually took my car in, dropped me off at the airport, worked on my car, and a few days later picked me up from the airport and I drove away minutes later with my car ready to go. The customer service at the Boyd store in Richmond is unlike anywhere else. From the staff who work behind the desk, to the willingness of everyone to help get drivers back on the road in a safe vehicle as soon as possible. They managed to find a problem with my car that would have ruined my cross-country tour and the greatest part about it is they always find the best deals - so great service at a great price - hard to beat. One thing I'm sure of - I will never go anywhere else to get my car looked after. I trust my car (and my safety) at ... all the people at the Richmond Boyd, Thanks so much for a wonderful job (not to mention cleaning my car and making it look brand new on top of everything else you do). On another note, I play for Canada's Women's Soccer team and Boyd set up an entire meet and greet night with all the little Timbits in Richmond - I love a company that is excited to give back to the community and eager to give hope to young athletes in this country!! Did a great job, the car looks great. Had a little issue that turned out to be a burnt out lightbulb so wasn't technically their problem. They took care of it right away and checked all the other lights for me just in case anyway. Wonderful service, wonderful product. I would recommend them anytime.

Just wanted to let you know about a great experience we had with your Richmond facility. Both my husband and I have had our cars in to this location, one for collision repair and one for glass repair. The staff were so personable and friendly, while providing a timely and professional repair job. Rishi Backshi, the manager there, is our new standard as an example of excellent customer service. He did an amazing job facilitating and communicating every step of the process, and his team obviously works well under his leadership. Great job!

Rishi was incredible from the time I called he made sure every detail was taken care of. Rishi made sure the car was ready when our family came back from our vacation. Nothing was left undone Rishi even arranged to have our car detailed inside and out. I would not hesitate to recommend Rishi and Boyd auto body to anyone else

great service friendly staff , had a problem with install they were provided a replacement car for the evening and repaired the damage - referred to company by friends at Mayfair Lakes where the owner has sponsored and event and i was lucky enough to win a draw as a side note am in the Auto repair business and now will use your service instead of my regular installer overall experience was excellent thanks
