It's been a week since I've had my car repaired at Boyd Richmond and so far I am pleased with the quality of work. I had originally choosen Boyd over other shops due to such great reviews of customer service and I'm glad to say I experienced it first hand! When I originally went to pick up my car I noticed that an interior trim piece was not properly installed. Rishi and Matt were extremely apologetic and made sure that this issue was resolved asap. Despite this minor bump, I am quite pleased at how professional and sincere they were about my situation. I have no hesitation visiting Boyd Richmond in the future for my automotive needs.

"I unfortunately am writing for the 2nd time within the past month regarding some body work that I needed done for two different vehicles! The good news is that both were tremendous experiences from the Boyd autobody shop in Richmond. In September, I brought my father's car in to get fixed and I have already provided feedback on that experience. Most recently, my own car was damaged in an accident and I once again brought it back to Boyd Autobody due to the excellent customer service they provided the first time around. I had my accident on Wednesday, Oct. 10th at 12:10pm. I called ICBC at around 1pm to report it and subsequently called Boyd at around 1:30pm. Samatha answered the phone and was pleasant as usual. I told her my situation and wanted to know if I could bring the car in right away. However, I also needed a "courtesy ... car" to drive around in and needed to be back in Vancouver for a 4pm meeting. Samatha was going to arrange a car from Enterprise however was concerned that there might be a delay in getting the Enterprise driver over to Boyd in a timely manner. As a result, she drove me from the Boyd shop over to Enterprise and had pre-arranged everything so that I had the car in about 5 minutes! I was able to make my 4pm meeting with time to spare! In addition, I had some bad scratches and markings on my rear passenger wheel that were not a result of the accident. I mentioned this to Rishi and he was able to have the wheel replaced at a very low discounted price. As usual, the car looked great when I picked it up -- they really do a great job with the detailing! Rishi provided me with regular updates as to the status of the repairs which I really appreciated. Although the car would have been available a day earlier, Rishi had some concerns with certain parts of the paint job and therefore had it redone or touched up before I picked it up. I've received nothing but tremendous service from the Richmond Boyd Autobody shop and will be recommending them to any friends/family that require work to be done. thanks again for turning bad experiences (car accidents) into "better" experiences! Your shop was recommended to me by Granville & Avery (my mechanics) and they certainly did not steer me wrong. Rose Kumar did a fabulous job in looking after my car......the glass was replaced promptly.....Rose even went the extra mile to made sure that there was no glass whatever inside the car....washed it....when I came to pick it up it was like a brand new car again. Rose did a first class job at attending to my unfortunate mishap.....will certainly recommend your shop to my friends. Thanks again.

Just thought I would provide some feedback regarding my recent experience with Boyd Auto Group in Richmond. I found out about the Body Shop through Rishi (Operations Manager) through a mutual friend (our barber!). I brought my father's car into Boyd due to an accident. Right from the get-go, the experience was outstanding. I setup an appointment to see Rishi and I was an hour early but that wasn't a problem for them at all. They had arranged a car from Enterprise for me however it was a van which I really didn't want to drive. Since I had my own car back at my mother's house, I asked if they could just drive me back there. Not a problem. They had one of their staff, J.J. drive me back and we had a great conversation along the way. Rishi kept me informed all along the way as the car was getting fixed. He was very proactive as he would call ... me or email me with updates. When my car was ready, they offered to drive the car over to my house and do the paperwork there. I declined since I had some errands to run closeby to the Boyd shop. The driver (I forget his name) was very nice and once again enjoyed the conversation back to the shop. Met with Matt and Samatha who have always been very professional. Most importantly, the car looked great. Later that day, I received a call from Rishi just to ensure that everything went well. thanks Boyd Auto Group for a terrific experience! * bad news is that I just got into a car accident with my own vehicle today however the good news is that I will be bringing it back to Rishi and his team at the Richmond location! read more

I brought my car to Boyd in Richmond seeking for a quote on some body work. I was greeted by Matt and Samantha(?) at the front desk, first impressions were good. I then spoke with Rishi B. and we had a look at my car. Rishi went through the steps and procedures on the work I was looking to get done. He was clear and honest. I also had Matt take a look at the chip in my windshield. Matt was able to fill the crack in no time! At the time, I was still unsure of which body shop to bring my car to. So I went around town looking for more quotes from other shops. In the end, I ended up bringing my car to Boyd. I had my body work done and they did a pretty darn good job matching the factory tri-coat paint. Might I even say better than the last body shop I brought my car to. Rishi and his crew were friendly and professional. They were very ... accommodating and willing to get you a ride to somewhere convenient. I would definitely consider Boyd in Richmond for future body work on my car. read more

AMAZING! The service was beyond reproach. The quality of the work was impeccable. I am a Quality Manager with a keen eye for attention to detail. I was unable to find even the slightest imperfection or flaw. There is no way you would ever know that my vehicle had been in an accident. Larry stayed late so that I could pick up my car. It was above and beyond what was expected. If there were stars available, they would receive top marks!

My collision repair was done in Vancouver on 73rd Ave., not Richmond, but there's no option in this form for the 73rd ave. location. After being hit by a driver running a red light, I got to experience the horror of dealing with ICBC for the first time. They recommended writing my car off (which I couldn't afford to do) or if I opted to fix the damage, they recommended against using Boyd, because they charge a little more. After how I was treated by ICBC, I decided to go AGAINST their recommendation and use Boyd Autobody - and boy, am I glad I did! The customer service was excellent. Mandy was my first contact and she was wonderful about sourcing out parts and calling me back right away to get things started. Robin then oversaw the actual repairs. He kept in contact to let me know the progress and he even came in on his day off - a ... Saturday - to allow me to get my car back without having to wait for Monday! Their professionalism and overall helpfulness helped take the sting out of this whole accident experience. They did the repairs quickly AND came in under budget too! If I ever need work done again, I will definitely give Boyd Autobody on 73rd Ave. my business -- and I will also strongly recommend them to others. It was just so nice to experience such friendliness and fairness, especially after being shaken by my first accident. read more

My experience with manager, Reshi Bakshi was extremely good. His nature is very personable and his service was very efficient. He based his service around what worked best for my schedule’s point of view and he certainly went the extra mile with his service, which was very impressive. Reshi was not only extremely effective and competent in the field as it related to the repair of my small issue but I could understand that his knowledge in the industry stemmed far beyond this. I will definitely return as a customer and won’t hesitate to recommend Rishi to my 'people' for any auto body/grass work that they may need in the future.

I brought my 2011 VW Golf GTI to Rishi Bakshi at Boyd Autobody for some repairs and body work. I was impressed with his overall knowledge and customer service skills. The body work was done in an accurate and timely manner while updates were given to me on a regular basis. I was impressed with Rishis atttention to detail as well as his ability to make this bad situation as comfrotable as possible. I was also given valet service as I was unable to pick my car up when the repairs were finished due to work. I would recommend Rishi to all my freinds and family as I was extremely impressed with the overall quality of work as well and his interpersonal skills made the situation much more comfortable.

Recently, I had purchased a KIA Sedona and, while parking the car, it was scratched. I brought my car back to the dealership believing that it would be covered under the extended warranty but was told that it, in fact, was not. They offered to provide someone to give me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix the vehicle. Shortly thereafter, I met Rishi Bakshi from Boyd Richmond who took a look at the damage for me. While he could have easily followed the lead of the KIA dealership and offer me a quote, he was very honest and told me that the damage was so slight and that it would take no longer than 15 minutes to fix. He offered not to charge me for the work and we set up a time for me to bring the car in. As promised, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and was quite happy with the job done. Comparing my expereince dealing ... with Rishi versus that with the representative at KIA, it was refreshing to have someone who was flexible, friendly, and smart enough to see a situation for what it really was. In the competitive consumer atmosphere of today, customer service is paramount to gaining and retaining customers. People like Rishi are an asset for any company. Even though, the repair on this occasion was complimentary; the good will from this experience will certainly remind me to think of Boyd first if any of my vehicles need glass or bodywork done in the future--not to mention a hearty recommendation to friends and family who may need work done on their cars.. read more
